GoDaddy is the world’s largest domain name registrar – no doubt you have heard of them as they advertise heavily both on the web and on television.
I was able to trigger one of their $0.99 ads to appear in Google with a search using a combination of some relevant keywords.
I have seen similar deals from them before, but this is the first time I’ve personally come across one that also offered the registration of a .ca domain name at the same price.
Here is the resulting link (shortened as much as possible removing all the extra Google ad tracking info) that takes you to this specific offer page.
Rather than register a new domain name, you could also opt to transfer in one of your existing domains at this price (extending your current expiration by a year). Take advantage of this deal while you can, as there is no mention as to when the offer ends.
I do find that GoDaddy’s renewal fees are on the higher side in comparison with some other registrars – so you may want to consider transferring your new domain to another registrar when the time comes to renew.
